2021-07-25
The Oyu Tolgoi gold and copper ore (OT ore for short) is located in Hanbaogede County, South Gobi Province, Mongolia (less than 100 kilometers from the Chinese border), and is known as one of the world's largest gold and copper mines. The copper belt area is equivalent to the urban area of Ulan Bator. The gold belt of the mine is slightly smaller than the urban area of Ulan Bator. The preliminary proved copper reserves are 31.1 million tons, gold reserves are 1328 tons, and silver reserves are 7600 tons. The mine was put into production in July 2013 and is expected to be mined for 50 years. The Turquoise Mountain Resources Company under Rio Tinto of Australia owns 66% of the equity of the mine, and the rest of the equity is owned by Mongolia. The open-pit mining of Oyu Tolgoi Mine has been put into operation.
Since 2016, Kunyuan has participated in more than 70% of the F3125 hot-dip galvanized steel structural bolts and A320 L7 fasteners of WorleyParsons OT project, which are supplied by our company. We have successively established a cooperative relationship of mutual trust with thyssenkrupp, SinoStruct, TZME, USP, Guangzhou Shipbuilding International, Purell and Marton Heavy Industries.
